Veteran Roasters is a veteran owed, veteran operated coffee company based in Chicago, IL. Besides making what we believe is some of the most delicious coffee you can find, we empower veterans that have struggled in their transition back home by providing them with a job and skills development in the coffee industry.
Like so many small businesses, our revenues have dropped over 95% because of COVID-19. Veteran Roasters relies on our restaurant, hospitality and corporate partners all over the country to buy and brew our coffee. We are doing whatever we can to keep our employees whole, even though there is no work and as a state we are on lock down. In the interim, will be paying our employee's bills and providing gift cards for them to buy food, but our resources will run out in early-April.
We are starting this fund to help continue to support Veteran Roasters employees for however long this crisis lasts. Any donation, large or small, will help and will mean the world to our employees; many of them who have previously been homeless or on the verge of homelessness and we want to ensure that doesn't happen again.
