Veteran, Blaine Robinson

Donation protected

The 2019 National Fitness Hall of Fame proves to be an exciting event each year sharing with bodybuilding legends and inductees.  It just so happens the same day there was also an event For paralyzed veterans. This year proved to be extra special because whom I met by chance. I notice a proud young man in his army uniform in a wheelchair. As I am a veteran myself, I am always eager to thank a fellow veteran for their service. Blaine Robinson as I came to know he is a paralyzed veteran, who was in the Infantry Division and was in a head-on collision while on active duty.

Blaine is a 27-year-old veteran confine to a wheelchair and is unable to speak but can see and hear. He was accompanied by his family who encouraged me to continue talking with him as Blaine was responding within his limits with excitement to the point his parents told me that he was gesturing me with his restricted hand movement to hug him... Which of course I did.

Blaine's family shared pictures of Blaine when he was an all-around American Athletic playing football,  baseball, involved in water sports and bodybuilding. Blaine even had pictures posing to which I could see his bodybuilder physique being a bodybuilder myself.

Blaine's family shared videos of how Blaine today continues to work out in total different capacity. Today his struggles are greater as he attends a gym that is far from his home and a gym that is not equipped to meet his needs.  Blaine struggles to get in and out of these machines with the assistance of a friend and his father making it very difficult for all of them.

Mrs. Robinson (Blaine's mother) stated: "people are meant to cross our path for a reason"... God showed us the two sides of the spectrum where I was to attend the National  Fitness Hall of Fame and here we had the Paralyzed Veterans.
Something to think about.

As a competitive bodybuilder and a personal trainer and having been inducted into the Hall of Fame I could appreciate this young man's resilience.

At the National Hall of Fame, I was there to present  David Lyons as an inductee. I also invited Lance Dreher to meet this remarkable young Veteran. Blaine's mother sent a note that read "Blaine is unable to speak, but I can tell you without a doubt that meeting you both meant the world to him and brought him much joy."

For this reason, Lance and I are committed to raising the funds and getting the proper exercise equipment and a personalized training program for Blaine in his very home.  We understand the struggles of this family. And the importance of physical training and much more, having the proper equipment to work with.

All we are asking is that you show your support for this Veteran with a gift of  $5,$15,$20,$50.$100. , whatever amount God put in your heart.
We Thank-you for your Support ahead of time it will mean the world to him!
