Baddeck Cat Rescue received an urgent call for help after a local family's beloved pet dog was injured after being hit by a car.
After an initial vet visit it became clear that his injuries needed an x-ray, stitches, pain meds & his hip needed re-setting, the cost of which was sadly beyond their means. We couldn't stand by & let this lovely dog remain in pain - so we agreed to help cover the costs. Unfortunately we can't really afford this either as our main goal is helping feral & stray cats. BUT we decided we would use our funds & then recover the costs via this GoFundMe.
