Vests For The S.O.

Our Deputies are underfunded, with their current budget. So much so, that they can't afford to replace their expired Bullet Proof Vests. Possibly their MOST important piece of equipment. No one has asked me to do this, there's absolutely nothing in it for me. It just ticked me off, the other night, when I heard my District 2 Commissioner tell my Sheriff "We'll just let the taxpayers decide"; Concerning equipment our Deputies need. I'm a taxpayer and you're a taxpayer, so let's give our Board of Commissioners our answer, in the language they understand best. Cold, hard, dollar signs. I am asking all of you, to help me, help our Deputies get the equipment they need. The one piece that makes sure they get home to their families. You wanted change, you wanted help; Well... Now they need our help, so that they can help us.
