Veronica's Victorious Voyage

Have you ever wished you had a magic wand?  I have, especially when my sister/friend since 7-years-old was diagnosed with a uterine cancer called Leiomyosarcoma in 2015. This particular cancer is a hyper-aggressive and intimidating form of sarcoma. Despite that fact, Veronica fought hard and was found "cancer free" in February of 2016, less than 6 months after her original diagnosis. She threw a party--an incredible party-- and everyone was euphoric! It was like a fairy tale.

The magic wand worked!!!

Or so we thought...

In June of 2016, doctors told Veronica that a new scan detected cancer present again. Discouraged but resolved; Veronica, her family, and her friends set out to, yet again, defeat the "BIG C."  She has fought like a gladiator/transformer (her son, Morrissey’s favorites)/hero ever since. 

Everyone hoped the fight would be as seemingly easy as the first...but it has not been. Veronica has been met with challenge after challenge and despite defeating them all, she needs more help. 

Since V's re-diagnosis; Isaac, Morrissey, and she have moved in with her ever-supportive parents to help defray living expenses and medical costs. While everyone has been giving and doing their all, Veronica and her family have fallen behind and now need help to cover the medical treatment to get her back to a place where she can receive the chemotherapy that was effectively defeating the tumors currently ravaging her body. 

Veronica is my PERSON. For nearly 40 years, I have been able to say, do, ask of, and disclose anything to her (while fully expecting to be called on my shit when needed) without worrying about losing her love and support. I've always been able to trust that, even if nobody else was, she’d be in my corner. As lucky as this makes me feel, I know I'm not the only one she's made feel this way. 

Veronica's the ultimate fighter, but she needs the help of her army now! If Veronica has reassured you, smiled at you when you needed it, made you feel important when you were just not feeling it yourself; OR if you don't know Veronica personally, but have had or wished for a person in your life like her; please consider helping her now.
