A couple of months ago a loving, dedicated, fiercely beautiful and strong, 28 years-old, single mother of 2, Veronica Medina , was diagnosed with a very rare cancer. Synovial Sarcoma Cancer  effects 1-3  individuals in a million people. It is so rare that researchers have yet to find a specific treatment.

Before Veronica was diagnosed, her career as a female Border Patrol Agent in the state of Texas had just begun. She was away from her 2 babies for months at a time, and missed them dearly, but she knew her journey was only beginning. Little did she know, the battle for her life was only beginning. Upon diagnosis, she had to quickly begin treatments to shrink her tumor,   take a leave of absence from her new position, and  left her girls again. She sees her girls when she is able. This battle against cancer is her toughest bout yet.

Veronica recently completed her last treatment of chemotherapy, which has set her up to be scheduled for surgery to remove the tumor. Vero will continually be on mulitiple types of treatment until the tumor is surgically removed. Her hospital bills are accumulating, as her insurance does not cover all the costs.  Please feel free to donate all you can, every bit counts, and if you can't donate please feel free to share this site with others. Thank you!

*Synovial Sarcoma Cancer is a soft tissue sarcoma or a rare tumor that forms on one's connective tissues in the joints (Research Article ;Synovial Joints Synovial Joints 2 ). In Vero's case, the evil cancer tumor demon arose in her jaw joint.
