Vermont to Poor People's Moral Action Congress
Tax deductible
In June, the Poor People’s Campaign is gathering in Washington DC for the Poor People's Moral Action Congress. June 17-19, over 1,000 thousand poor people from over 40 states will be there to set the stage for the 2020 national conversation. As part of the Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival, we will launch our moral and constitutional budget, hold a forum with Presidential candidates, organize a hearing on Capitol Hill in order to force our national discourse (including our elected officials and media) to focus on the real moral issues of our day.
A delegation of poor people from Vermont is going to DC, and we could use your support to pay for the trip.
The goals of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival are to:
1) shift the narrative,
2) impact elections and policies, and
3) build power among the 140 million poor peoples in the United States.
