VeloFest #AllAtOnce with Jack Johns

$3,500 goal

Campaign created 10 months ago
Help us(VeloFest Community Initiative) raise funds! Jack Johnson’s charity is matching donations contributed to us at the show and directly to our organization through October 31st, up to a total of $2500. Make a contribution right now and your money will be doubled by the Johnson Ohana Foundation!

VeloFest Community Initiative is teaming up with Jack Johnson and hosting a concert bike valet program at the local stop of his 2017 Summer Tour! We are also partnering with All At Once, a social action network connecting nonprofits with people who want to become active in their local and world community. All At Once comes to life online at and at the Jack Johnson concerts where you can get educated, get inspired, and connect face-to-face with us and other local and national non-profits. All At Once promotes sustainable local food systems and plastic free initiatives and encourages action through the Capture Your Commitment campaign.

Funds will be used for bicycle advocacy in St. Johns County. Our current projects include:

Bike Rodeo - A partner program with FDOT, St. Johns County Sheriff and with community funded materials, this is a free program for kids 2-102 where we discuss road safety, general bike maintenance and distribute free helmets. Our next rodeo is October 15 during the Freinds of St. Augustine Amphitheatre Kids Festival then at the Jail Break 5k October 28, Old Jail.

Light Up The Bikes - Free bicycle light give away at St. Francis House and other events.

Box to Bike (Launching Fall 2017) - This program repurposes abandoned bicycles by teaching youth over a 12 week program how to mechanic bicycles. The bicycles then are sent to various communtiy partners and to those in need of a bicycle. This is a partner program of VeloFest and Compassion St. Augustine with support from St. Johns Academy, SCORE Family Support, Flagler College, City of St. Augustine Police Department, Road Bike Outlet and others.
