Vehicle Emergency: Conneally Family

On May 5th, our only car began to smoke profusely on the highway.  We brought the car to a mechanic and they discovered that the radiator is bowed and blocked and the air conditioning is now effecting the ability of the car to be functional. The mechanic gave us a estimation of $920 because we need to replace the radiator, thermostat, and the pump for the air conditioning. Today, May 8th, the belt on the engine snapped and ultimately left the car unable to drive at all. Unfortunately, my mother is a Hospice nurse who has been out of work since three days after Christmas in 2017. Since then, she has developed a Deep Vein Thrombosis clot in her leg and has also broken two ribs. My father also does not work because he has been fighting for disability for over five years and was just recently awarded disability. We have not received any money and are not expecting to for at least three months or so. Three weeks ago, our other car was repossessed because we could not afford to keep up with the payments.  With all of the medical bills and everyday house bills, we can not afford to fix the car. Without one, we can not transport my eleven year old brother to and from school, my parent's can not attend their medical appointments, and once my mother is eventually healed, she will have no way of transportation to a job.  

I am uncomfortable asking for assistance, however, this is a true time of need and anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.
