Veg PEI is the first and only non-profit group dedicated to promoting the possibilities of plant-based living in Prince Edward Island. We were formed in 2016 and became a registered non-profit in 2017.
We've seen a huge desire in PEI to learn more about plant-based living, to have resources available, and to be part of this growing community. We know that Islanders deserve access to food options that are right for them and we want to be a driving force behind the plant-based movement on the island. We host monthly vegan potluck dinners, and organize our annual Veg it Up event, PEI's first culinary challenge showcasing the possibilities of gourmet plant-based dining.
Our goal is to provide even more options for people in PEI who are interested in plant-based living, to bring greater awareness about its benefits to everyone, and to be part of the growing community of people who are embracing the plant-based lifestyle.
