VCS Hurricane Harvey Relief

Open since 1978 as just a kindergarten class, Victoria Christian School has overcome several moves over the years to finally be blessed with a forever home at 3310 N. Ben Jordan. We currently service Preschool students 12 months through 4 years old as well as Kindergarten through Seventh grade. VCS plans to add a grade each year through 12th grade.

As most of you know, Hurricane Harvey hit Texas hard on August 25th, 2017, including Victoria. The chapel/foyer roof area was damaged and water leaked into the library area. There are a couple more leaks around the campus as well.  The school lost food in its refrigerators and freezers since the campus was without electricity for 10 days.

As a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, Victoria Christian School operates by student tuition and donations. VCS has been a part of so many children’s lives for the past 39 years. The school’s first priority is to maintain a sense of safety and normalcy for our students during this time, and with your help, we can begin to physically rebuild the destruction of what Hurricane Harvey left behind.
