Meet The Fairburn family. Kurt 35 years old, the husband of a beautiful wife and father of 4 small children was recently diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). This is an extremely horrific disease to be inflicted upon anyone. Especially someone so very young.

Kurt was laid off in November from a job of 8 years with a local company. That alone was a shock to the family. Now, left with no short term or long term disability benefits, they must carry the financial, emotional and physical burden alone. They are forced to sell everything and move from their home to find a solution that will not cost them as much to live. Forget the Christmas gifts…we have greater concerns at this time. Kurt was so looking forward to seeing his little ones graduate from school, be married one day, and so many other important events in the life of a child. It breaks his heart to know that he cannot grow old with his high school sweetheart of 13 years.

The conventional physicians have nothing to offer Kurt as far as extending his life except the warning that his condition is rapidly progressing. Time is not on this young man’s side.
