VBLL Recovery Fund

The Board of Directors of Virginia Beach Little League is saddened to inform you that we have not received our Spring 2017 registration payments from our online league management vendor.  The vendor collected nearly $38,000 in online registration fees and has refused to forward the money to us as our contract stipulates.  

Conversations with other victimized leagues make clear that we should hold little hope that any funds will be recovered directly from this vendor.  We have not given up yet.

This spring we were able to support our operating expenses, and had a successful season for the players.  Unfortunately, the lost income has affected our ability to conduct long-term maintenace and planned site improvements that will provide our kids with a better place to play.

VBLL maintains a facility of 9 fields for practices, games and tournaments.  We are responsible for maintainting all the lights, fences, parking lots and associated equipment used for field maintenance.  

VBLL has been a stong league with a state-level presence because of the support of its families and the support of the local community. It is in this spirit that we ask for any contribution you can make to help us keep the league thriving.
