Varries Fundraiser

As you all know our good friend Varrie is currently battling stage 4 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma. For those of you who don't know this is a cancer that affects the lymphatic system. Fortunately, it is one of the most treatable cancers and has a great success rate.

Varrie is doing amazingly well, she is due to have 4 high- intensity rounds of chemotherapy as the cancer has progressed rapidly. Varrie is nearing the end of her first round, and she has another 3 to go. This kind of treatment means remaining in hospital for the majority of the following 4 months.

Many people want to help and show their support at times like this, as her closest friends we feel the best way to do this would be to raise some money on her behalf. The funds raised will go towards paying the expenses and costs that arise from the treatment and side effects, along with general living costs for Varrie and her family. 

As well as raising money, we want to raise awareness of cancer, especially in younger people. Varrie is documenting her journey on Facebook and Instagram so please check it out. If you can't give a money donation, doing something such as giving blood is equally as important, as blood transfusions are often needed during cancer treatment.

Any donations would be appreciated and  would make a huge difference.
