VANESSA'S SWEET SIXTEEN!

I am so grateful and blessed to have a daughter like Vanessa! A gracious gift from GOD. She's a typical teenager, yet very mature for her age. She is well grounded, and she has her own relationship with GOD. 
I'm here to let you know as her mother that Vanessa is a very loving ,caring ,very responsible and respectful young lady. As I continue to raise her, I can already say she is a servant within The Community. She serves in and outside church, enjoys working with and playing with smaller kids, and wakes me up each morning to pray. 
She is a songbird within her own right, and I am her biggest Fan! Not only because she is my child, but she is really that great.  ;-)
Now the hard part... I am a single Mom and am facing recent financial struggles and with sustainable employment. This has been going on for a year now.  Unemployment, a car accident, and one breakdown after the other, all with deductibles, recalls, fees for repair diagnostics and so on. Paying a car payment, AND fixing it so frequently has taken it's toll. I'm not able to trade it because the value is $9k less than whats left in my loan.  Sorry for the details, but  its my reality. 
Bottom line is, I don't want my current situation to prevent my daughter from a wonderful, well deserved, milestone experience. Every girl deserves a sweet Sixteen! So I am asking for your help. This is humbling for me, I really don't ask unless I am truly unable. Your donations, love, and support will be appreciated, and always be remembered evey time we look back at photos, or have a memory of how glorious it was to celebrate such a lovely girl.  Now GoFundME say to set a deadline, so I will set it for September 20th. This would give me 1 month to figure out how to use funds if in slim case we don't reach our goal. 
So Why is the goal $7000?
Well, if youve spent any amount of time with me, you already know I'm one for honesty and transparency. Here's how the money will be used. 
1st, GoFund Me takes 5% plus 2.9% (8%) plus $0.30 on the dollar. The Venue is $35 per plate x 100 people = $3500 plus 6.25% MA tax and fees= $3745
(I really don't want a "pot-luck" for this event if I can help it. Often times someone gets sick, people almost never bring what they say, and I just want to be there for my daughter without the unecessary stress.)
So, here is the breakdown of what she is requesting on her special day:
$500 DJ and Photographer
$500 Limo 
$300 Special guest musician
$250 Chocolate Fountain
$450 The Cake for 100ppl plus Sweets Bar
$300 Invitations, Party favors,Thank you cards, Stamps
$350 dress
$120 cape
$40 undergarments
$70 shoes
$100 hair and makeup 
$80 Tiara and other jewlery
$35 nails
Total= $3095 + 3745= $6840
So in my estimation, to meet the $7000 goal, I would actually need to raise $7560.  Perhaps a lot to ask for some, but nothing is impossible... If I had 151 people give just $50 it would be done! Now I have over 1k Facebook and other friends. It would really mean the WORLD to me to make this dream a reality and a memory so special for her! 
So many recite the old adage "It takes a Village to raise a child." So many of you are already a part of that Village by being there for her to talk to, and you have blessed her with your example, and great advice. I am so grateful for you all even reading this far, and the possiblity of you considering giving for this event. I want to thank you for in advance for your donation. If its $5 or $500, I am grateful that you would help me in getting this done. 
I commit to posting evey step of the way, so you will know when and where everything's going. If we surpass our goal, it will go towards Vanessa's Education.
