Labor Day Fire Destroys Family Home

The page is set up to assist the Vandenhoff family, residents of Mechanicsville VA, whose home burned on Labor Day.  The family is for now living in a hotel until more suitable housing can be found.  With 7 people in the family - 2 parents, 2 young adults, and 3 elementary aged children, there is big need for clothing, gas,  food, and for many other items that need to be replaced immediately.  

Sometimes it is hard to know how to help families with this kind of loss.  This is one way that allows the family to address their specific needs as they arise.  

We hope you will help this wonderful family, and help surround them with support from a caring community.
