Valerie Parham Fletcher

In all my life, I’ve never met anyone who has a more Christ like soul then Valerie Parham Fletcher. She’s been like a sister to me since I was 4 years old. Val is the best of all of us. She loves the Lord and if she knows you, well then she loves you too. 
       As a missionary in Puerto Rico, she met the love of her life Tracy. God has such a sense of humor as she had to travel so far to meet her husband who was from a town only 45 min. away from her hometown. During seminary they had their son Joshua then later Natalie. They traveled to West Virginia for their first pastorate then back to West Hendersonville, the church Valerie had grown up in to serve until recently.  
      They purchased their first home, a fixer upper, in December after living in parsonages most of their married life. They moved in with my mom and planned to start repairs. But on February 1st their plans changed. On that day, Valerie was diagnosed with  stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has already spread to her liver, spleen & lungs. She now faces a uphill battle for her life.
     Let’s join together to help this dear family who has given so much of themselves to everyone around them. They would never ask for help so we are asking for them. The main things the house  needs are a hvac system, flooring, sheetrock work, plumbing and appliances. So many have offered to help provide the labor and we are grateful. 
     We are still praying that God will heal her but let’s get her 1st home fixed so she can make memories with her family in their own home.
