Helping Harper

Brian and Elizabeth Hart were expecting their first beautiful bundle of joy, Harper Grace, to be born on May 2, 2017. But, life happened. Elizabeth's water broke on March 4th and she was rushed by ambulance to Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Oregon. Elizabeth was only 31 1/2 weeks pregnant. Since that hospital doesn't have a NICU, she was transferred by ambulance to OHSU in Portland, Oregon. They are known to have one of the best NICUs around.
Because her water broke early, the risk of infection is very high. Elizabeth has to stay in the hospital until Harper is born, on bed rest. Elizabeth will be induced on March 21st, if there are no complications prior to that. She will be 34 weeks pregnant at that time. Depending on when she is born, Harper will remain in the NICU until anywhere between April 18th and May 16th. Elizabeth and Brian will move from the hospital to the Ronald McDonald house 2-4 days after Harper is born. This is located right next to OHSU.
Due to them being 2 1/2 hours away from home, Brian is unable to work. He is eligible for FMLA, but it is unpaid. Unfortunately, they do still have bills to pay and they will have several new medical bills that the insurance will not cover. I would like to help them reduce their stress and worry levels as much as I can. They have enough going on in their lives. So that's why I am writing this. Anything helps, big or small. It will be appreciated more than you could possibly know. Elizabeth and Brian are two of the best people in my life. I would give them the world if I could...
