On April 7th I found my daughter unresponsive laying in her bed. She was rushed to Detroit Recieving Hospital where she received care for critical condition. After all her fight was fought, she left me April 9th at 6:30am.
Zanavia battled with Sickle Cell Anemia SC her whole life. Her life was privately difficult dealing with such painful disease. Although many times she did not feel well you wouldn’t know because of her selfless indomitable spirit.
It pains my soul to have to bury my first love, my beloved daughter but I know she no longer suffer. She was loved by so many and this often kept her fighting.
