Propel's Future Lawyers Trip
Tax deductible
We are three students from Propel Andrew Street High School currently taking Law and Justice and aspiring to be lawyers. We were chosen to go to Washington D.C. for a moot court competition, which is a mock trial for young lawyers to be able to see what it would be like to participate in court. Additionally, it helps expand our education in the law class. Our dream is to be able to explore, become educated in the practice of putting a case together, and arguing that case in a persuasive, factual manner to appeal to a judge or jury.
As students of a low-economic background, it’s VERY difficult for us to hit our fundraising goal within our communities. We also don’t get opportunities like this often. We’re hoping to actually experience Washington D.C. to learn more about our nation’s capital and have a more enriching, authentic learning experience. To do this, we need to raise money for days of lodging, food, and new, enlightening experiences.
Please help us with this learning opportunity! Any amount will help.
