Heart Surgery Funds for Melody

Melody's heart beats very fast and she has delayed development (she can't sit by herself, she can't crawl, she can't stand, she can't walk at her age...1year, 5months). The parent went to the hospital to complain and it was detected after several tests that there's a murmur in her heart.

Echocardiography was done, which revealed she's got a large PMVSD (hole-in-heart) with mild-moderate pulmonary valvular stenosis. She was then referred to the national cardiothoracic centre  for further assessment. Tests confirmed the earlier diagnosis.

She was then referred to see cardiac surgeons for surgical closure of the VSD. The family of Melody has been asked to raise 8500  to cover the cost of surgery which they can’t raise on their own.

Recommended Treatment: Surgical closure of VSD by cardiac surgeons.
How soon: Funds  are required as soon as possible since the baby is fast losing weight and her growth and development has stalled.
How funds will help: The donations will help fund the cost of correcting the defect immediately to restore her normality in growth and development.
How urgent: soonest, as further delay in treatment means worsening condition.
