Save A Life, Buy A Light

We are a group of college students from the University of West Florida that are trying to raise money towards the purpose of buying solar lights to place on campus. As the news has depicted in the last few years, sexual assaults on college campuses have been increasing rapidly and our school is no stranger to this fact. At least once a month we receive emails concerning the latest assault reports and many of them occur in areas of campus that are not sufficiently lighted. Our goal is to use this money to purchase solar lights to place in these areas. We have received support from the UWF Maintenance department and they will gladly install any lights we buy. Each light is approximately $75 which includes all the mounting hardware.

Those who donate $75 or more will receive a custom plaque on one of the lights to honor the donation.

The deadline for this project is March 31, 2016.
