Save my belongings

I never saw myself in this position but here I am.
I'll give you a bit of back story. Back in 2008 I was involvec in an accident which resulted in my almost losing my right foot. Thirteen surgeries later and I was finally able to walk again.
Five years later and I was again involved in an accident which required an additional seven surgeries to my right leg. Once again I was able to make a somewhat full recovery.
Things have been touch and go the past few months. I lost my job in April due to position being eliminated. I was forced to move in with friends and put all my belongings in storage. I was able to go back to work with almost no down time and had finally started to turn the corner and get a car.
Now I am sitting here at Princess Anne Hospital. My foot has what appears to be an infection but after five days I really don't know anymore than what I did when I was admitted.
I am scared I could possibly lose my foot or worse.
Then to top things off I get a call this morning stating ALL my and my wife's belongings are to be auctioned off Saturday the 29th.
I mean everything....clothes....furniture....
tools....momentos....things from my late father.
When I was in better financial shape I would help people out with small loans in the hopes that when and if I were ever in that position the help would be reciprocated.
This is a last resort for me because I'm not sure when I'm getting out of the hospital. Bad part is I'm not sure when I can go back to work because at the moment I'm not able to walk.
Any and all help would be appreciated immensely. We have items in that storage that cannot be replaced.
