Climbing Mt Snowdon in aid of mens mental health

Tax deductible
On the 20th April myself (Sam Pike) and George Shrubsall will be climbing to the top of Mount Snowdon. We have decided to do this in aid of mens mental health, a cause which is close to both of our hearts. CALM is a charity dedicated to raising awareness and helping men who are suffering with their mental health. They run a free and confidential helpline and web chat to support anyone who is confused, seeking help or needs to talk about life’s problems.

76% of suicides are by men despite men making up only 36% of referrals to therapies. This highlights the alarming stigma around mental health in men and also the lack of education about the available help. It is so important to talk to someone if you are suffering and realise you are not alone. We hope by doing this we can raise awareness and help even just a few people in getting the help they need. Thank you in advance for any donations.

CALM's free, confidential and anonymous helpline & webchat service is open 5pm-midnight, every day of the year.
