Heart Surgery

To my very much appreciated family members and dear friends;
I would like to inform you of my ongoing health status as it relates to a congenital heart valve issue. While visiting the doctors office in January for a physical exam It was discovered that I have a bicuspid aorta heart valve when it should be a tricuspid valve. There is also an aneurism on my aorta. I've been through a battery of tests in the last two months and the conclusion of my cardiologist and heart surgeon is that I need to undergo open heart surgery to replace the valve and repair the aneurism. The good news is that they should easily be able to repair the issues during a lengthy 5-6 hour surgery. I should be back on the job after an 8-12 week recovery; at the earliest. The surgery is scheduled for April 19th.
Being that I am the sole proprietor of my small maintenance business I will be having an assistant fill in for me during the interim until approximately July 1st when I should be cleared to return to work.
This my first experience with such health issues and I don't even have any symptoms! My wife, Tamara, and myself will keep you posted with updates as they unfold. Being that this is a very large financial burden I have opened a GoFundMe account and will need all the support we can get. Thank you. Any and all support is very much appreciated during this time.
