Usborne Books for Epsom & St Helier

Spending the holidays in hospital can be an upsetting time for children and young people who are poorly, so Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Toy Appeal are asking for new books to give to these children at Christmas to help brighten up their day.

As a local Independent Usborne Organiser, I’m in a very lucky position to be able to get Usborne to donate a percentage of free books on top of the money that we raise; so if we can reach the £600 target, Usborne will give an extra 60% of free books, making a total of £960 of shiny new books to help the children enjoy Christmas!

All you have to do is donate whatever amount you would like, and in collaboration with Amanda Laughton, Play Specialist, and Lesley Davison, Woodlands Day Nursery Manager, the hospital will choose books to give to all the children.

Any amount that you can donate will be very gratefully received, but if you'd like an idea, £6.99 will get a super sticker or activity book, £9.99 a fantastic lift-the-flap book or jigsaw puzzle, and £14.99 an amazing pull-back book with interactive toy.

The books will be given out to as many children as possible at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children at St Helier’s Hospital, and the Casey ward at Epsom Hospital.

All proceeds from this GoFundMe page will go to the book fundraising, and of course I'm giving my commission as well.
