SAU 21 Food Service Program during COVID-19

School Administrative Unit (SAU) 21 understands that food security is an essential component of student learning. As such, during this remote instruction environment, we continue to provide nutritious meals for all our students, while our physical buildings are closed.
Our incredible School Nutrition team is preparing bag breakfasts and lunches equivalent of seven (7) days a week, to any student free of charge during this unprecedented pandemic.
We provide pick-up locations at Winnacunnet High School and Seabrook Elementary School for all students three (3) days a week - as well as a delivery option for all our students in our member towns of Hampton, Seabrook, North Hampton, Hampton Falls, and South Hampton.
Additionally, we are exploring the option of continuing this meals program through the summer, after our scheduled school end date of June 4th. We understand that many families are and/or will be struggling as this economic crisis continues, and want to ensure we support our students and families, as we continue our summer school programming.
We have received numerous requests from community members who have inquired how they can help. And, while we anticipate some USDA reimbursement to cover a portion of our expenditures - this will not cover the full cost of food, supplies, labor, and meal delivery. As such, we have setup this fundraising campaign to accommodate donations to support this program and our students.
