In 2016 Uriah Crow's brain tumor ruptured and he had the most serious seizure he has ever had - thank you to the first responders - they saved his life and we are all extremely grateful. Uriah has had a life long struggle with his health - he has cerebral palsy, a massive brain tumor that causes extreme seizures, he has had several strokes and suffers from anxiety.
The doctors said that it was a 0.04% chance of his tumor rupturing, and he is the first ever known to survive from it. The tumor is still there- but now it is scattered everywhere in his brain, not just in the one spot it was. He is a miracle, Uriah has always loved to work out and lift weights in the gym - his goal is to work out with and be as big as Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson someday! The Doctors have said that working out also helped him to survive, being so strong and healthy.
After Uriah had all these complications, he has not been able to work out in the fear that he may rupture the tumor once again. Uriah’s neurosurgeon has released him to work out again in the hopes he will regain his strength and health to be successful in his life and dreams.
His mom, Lana, and sister, Blythe, want to turn their garage into a gym for Uriah.
The family struggles financially because Uriah’s mom is also disabled.
I am trying to help this amazing family this Christmas by starting a Go Fund Me page to get the family a shed to store the things that are in the garage that can be a hazard to Uriah. If they can get a shed, Uriah will have room to turn the garage into his own personal gym. They are going to decorate it in a fire station motif. The picture is Uriah in his firefighting bunker gear, donated to him by the Westminster fire department. This shed would give them the ability to give Uriah what he needs to succeed .
