TIGER NEEDS YOUR HELP
Tiger supporters everywhere want to ensure that the decision to revoke Kristen Lindsey’s license is upheld at the State Office of Administrative Hearings. Her crime against Tiger was so blatant and remorseless that it seems the March hearing should be a slam dunk, but the courts don’t always work that way.
TJT’s attorney, Zandra Anderson, was a persuasive force at the vet board’s meeting last August, which resulted in their vote to revoke KL's license. Tiger supporters need her services again at the upcoming hearing. While the SOAH case is between TBVME and KL, Ms. Anderson can contribute her legal expertise in several ways. First, she can speak for Tiger by submitting an Amicus Brief to the SOAH judge on behalf of TJT. The Amicus Brief allows Ms. Anderson to research case law and present findings that are not traditionally made in legal briefs. She can also counsel witnesses for Tiger, prepare them for testimony, and be present in court during the SOAH hearing.
Ms. Anderson has worked diligently for Tiger’s cause, doing much of it pro-bono, yet there is a limit to the amount of unpaid work anyone can do, especially during a hearing scheduled to last three days. Therefore, Tiger’s Justice Team and True Blue Animal Rescue have joined forces to raise funds for Tiger’s legal fees. If we meet our target of $9,500 net, Ms. Anderson can take us all the way to the finish line for justice!
