TAMPA BASEBALL PLAYOFF RUN!!

The University of Tampa baseball team, home of the Spartans, recently just won back-to-back Sunshine State Conference Titles and is a top seed in the regional tournament. This team has been through battles on and off the field that have tested us emotionally and physically in the past year. It is because of the obstacles we have faced that has truly brought us together and we’ve become a family and created a bond that some teams may never experience in their careers. Unfortunately, when qualifying for the regional tournament, the NCAA can only pay for a portion of our team to travel. We’ve worked too hard for our team to be split up because of traveling issues. We have an opportunity to let our players and staff be a part of something much bigger then the game itself, memories that will last a lifetime and the experience of becoming a champion. It’s going to be nearly impossible to accomplish our goal that we have been working all year for if our entire family (team) can’t attend these games.

 

So, we ask for anyone’s help, anything at all can help these kids get what they deserve and that’s the experience of a lifetime and the opportunity to be national champions.
