Help single mum of 2 from eviction nightmare

I am trying to raise funds to pay rent arrears which i was put into of no fault of my own by going onto universal credit.
I moved to a two bedroom property at the same time as going onto universal credit my rent was not paid for two months and i have made numerous attempts to get the arrears paid which i have been told is not going to get paid back. Instead i have had eviction notices and told i have to pay the rent arrears myself being a single mother of two and having these arrears is so stressful universal credit have not even given me milk tokens and fruit and veg which i am entitled to also. I have no family to turn to as my mother and father are both deceased. Its ridiculous how mothers on benefits are treated. Its makes it so hard to provide a decent way of life for my boys.
I have done everything asked of me in the change over and consequently have been put into nearly a £1000 of debt which is near on impossible to clear and at the same time as living a normal life.
I am totally alone as both my parents are deceased, my mother died 4 years ago and my father 3 years ago and i have no other family to turn to.
I feel so embarrassed even having to ask for help this way but i feel no other way i can stop an eviction from happening. My children are my life and i feel sick to the stomach of the thought of letting them down and losing their home. Any help would be much appreciated even a pound towards finally clearing this debt which i was put into. I also stress it was of no fault of my own that this has happened, the benefit system is to blame for this and there is nothing which they will do to compensate me its outrageous how single mothers on benefits are treated.
