Hello All,
This last year, I got the terrible news that my aunt and Godmother, Maria Irizarry, was diagnosed with colon cancer that quickly metastasized in the last couple of months. Unfortunately, her medical prognosis is worse than we had expected.
My aunt Maria was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Due to the lack of power and access to immediate treatment during the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, my Aunt Maria had to flee the island leaving her children and grandchildren behind to continue treatment in Wisconsin. She has since spent the last 9 months in Wisconsin battling her cancer.
The news has devastated our family and we are all praying that Maria stays strong throughout the process.
Maria and her family have undergone tremendous expenses to cover her treatment which is why I am setting up this go fund me page. I would like to raise funds to help cover expenses for Maria's medications and all supplies needed to keep her comfortable.
I truly appreciate any help you can provide. No donation is too small.
