Unexpected Financial Need
So after graduating with my Associates degree and right before I started at the university for my Bachelors my husband went to the ER and we found out he needed a Valve replacement surgery..two local hospitals could not do the surgery and we were lucky a surgeon at Vanderbilt said he could, so my husband was life flighted and he had the surgery, but other complications occured such as a stroke, kidney failure, he had 8 chest tubes..and we had to stay almost two months. Once he was released he was sent to a nursing facility for about two weeks doing dialysis three times a week. He has now been home a couple months still having dialysis 3 times a week and waiting to get on the transplant list. Now in January I found out my medical leave of absence was only good for Fall 2017 which means I have to start back the 16th. Dealing with alot but trying to make it through!+ Read More
UT transplant team called and asked a few questions and she said she had to put paperwork through to see if his insurance will cover it then get back to us...prayers please!
So I pick James up from dialysis today and on the way home he says he can't see then has double vision so I'm praying nothing else is wrong and is just from dialysis or bp issues...please pray for us!
Follow-up appt at Vanderbilt went well...now back home...go back for another appt November 17th...sucks renting a car for literally less than an hour appts and having to drive about 10 hours straight each time there and back!
