Steve, Sue and Kim would like to request your assistance with helping our Uncle Johnny.
Uncle Johnny has always been a very important part of our lives. He was always there while we were growing up. He was more than just an uncle, he was like a second father. He would take us golfing, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, on tours of St. Paul and was always there if we needed someone to talk to. He helped us all through a lot of trials and tribulations.
He was always very proud of his service in the Navy. He and his brother Richard served on the USS Bauer together. He would attend all of their yearly reunions, made movies and kept photographs of all of their adventures. He was very proud of this time in his life.
Unfortunately, Johnny now has dementia and is current in hospice care at a local nursing home.
Johnny does not have much and we would like to give him the best care possible while he is alive. We would also like to provide him with a funeral service worthy of such a beautiful person.
We are asking for assistance to help Johnny. All of the money raised will go toward paying for his current care and funeral expenses. All money that is remaining will be donated to the VA hospital.
