Uncle Curtis- "I Go to Heaven"

Born on October 5th 1966 Curtis Lamar Moore entered the world in Fairbanks Alaska. He entered the world with an additional chromosome, which society has called a disability, but only those closest to him know that those with down syndrome really are only born with specials powers to make people feel loved and make them laugh ;) . Curtis definitely had those spiritual gifts, he has always had a unique way of making sure people received his love and that he received theirs as well. Curtis was fortunate enough to be cared for and love by his parents, siblings, cousins, and most recently his older brother Tyrone Sr. and his nephews, and now by Jesus personally on April 11th 2018 at 6:00pm PST as he went home to Heaven.

Curtis, in my opinion was the coolest, funniest, most loving guy ever. There are a trillion things our family can say about him that will make us miss him and what we loved, but 10 things come to mind when you think about Curtis Moore and his super unique legacy he left in our minds and maybe yours as well!

#1 Curtis loved Jesus and truly loved going to church and watching church on TV. TD Jakes would always get him hyped up, if you turned the channel while church was on he would say "mannnnnnnnnnnn" and mad dog you like you better change it back.

#2 Curtis would always have 2 things on him at all times. His handkerchief, and his bible. He never would feel right without these two items.

#3 If you were ever sad around him he would always give you hugs and rub your back. And then he would ask you for a ride to town (this meant take him shopping)!!

#4 Curtis love bacon sandwhiches, and even though he knew he was not supposed to have it he would always ask visiting relatives to hook him up with Juice or Pizza! If you did this for him he would be totally cool with you.

#5 Curtis would let you know really quick that he likes you, but he really really really really loves his Mother Alice and his Brother Tyrone. Easily those were his 2 most favorite people in the world. And he would let you know that even if you thought you were his favorite haha. But he truly loved all family, he would talk about everyone all the time.

#6 If you played Hip-Hop or any Jazz, Curtis would get up, say "Oh Yeah" and do the funky chicken and the Texas 2 step and he would not care who was watching.

#7 Curtis was also a true ladies man, my wife, my brothers wives (Conan & Ben) can all attest that Curtis would ask for multiple hugs and kisses at least 30times all in 5mins!

He would even let myself, Ben, and Conan know that he was going to marry all 3 of our spouses! haha

#8 Curtis hated the Rain, he only loved the Sun! The Rain would make him nervous, but if you tell him while it was raining that it is not raining on Sunday he would get calm.

#9 Curtis would hug strangers, and smile at everyone, literally everyone that he came across. And he would even start talking to you about his mother, his brother, and family, without even introducing himself to you.

#10 Curtis's last word were "I Love you Tyrone" he said this to my father after he was just stricken would a pulmonary embolism that led to cardiac arrest!

April 8th Curtis was stricken with a pulmonary embolism that led to cardiac arrest. He survived a few extra days because my brother Ben performed CPR on him, for 5-6mins until the paramedics came. When the paramedics came they took him to Temecula Valley hospital, where they tried their best to provide the highest level of care for Curtis. After about 3 days of being in the ICU Curtis vital signs were dipping when he was off sedation and after much prayer we knew that the Lord was calling Curtis home.

Today April 11th 2018 at 6pm Curtis Lamar Moore passed away from this world, and stepped into a glorious new body and place in Heaven with Jesus and the Father. To all of us he represented what really truly truly mattered in life, family, smiles, hugs, a pat on the back, a laugh at the most random things, kindness, gentleness, peace, patience, and most importantly a reminder that God dwells uniquely with those whom need Him the most especially with a relationship w/ Jesus whom He loved dearly.

In Light of his passing, our family want to honor him in the highest way we possibly can this account is setup to help raise money for funeral expenses so we can celebrate his life properly and with excellence. We were hoping to have him suited for his funeral and to not worry about some of his medical bills that the Moore family knows will incur here shortly.  His funeral is next Friday April 20th if God moves on your heart to help us within this week that would be an immense help to us. Tyrone JR and Benjamin Moore will oversee each penny and ensure these resources are used to celebrate his life in the highest and that medical bills do not consume our family. We appreciate any gift and resource you can provide, if not please continue to pray for healing for us and strength.

Thank you all for your prayers, today while we worshiped and prayed Curtis into Heaven I promise you they were felt because we were very strengthened during this very tough time!
