Uncle Big Chris Charity Hockey 2018

For the past six years the Uncle Big Chris Charity Hockey Classic (UBC) has been raising money for causes that have touched our lives in some way. To date we have raised almost $18K for several worthy causes.
Just this October, a colleague of Chris’ lost her Mother-in-Law to Breast Cancer. She was from the Kingston area.
Chris’ Mother-in-law is also Breast Cancer survivor.
This year, Dave and Chris have decided to direct all funds raised to Breast Cancer Action Kingston - http://bcakingston.ca/uncle-big-chris-charity-hockey-2018/
A couple of facts:
- Breast cancer is the most common cancer among Canadian women.
- Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women ages 15 to 54.
Breast Cancer Action Kingston promotes and provides funds for research into the cause, control and cure of breast cancer. They also provide public education, family support services, dissemination and publication of information about breast cancer.
The UBC Hockey Classic will take place from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (TBC) on Saturday, December 29th, 2018, at the Memorial Centre in Kingston. The last hour will be a family skate. Come out and enjoy some mediocre hockey and help raise some money for a great local charity!
The jerseys Dave and Chris will be wearing for the game were generously donated by Athletic Knit.
They will be cleaned and auctioned via the BCAK website link above.
