UMS Cheerleading Team

Urbana Middle School is finally starting a Cheerleading team. Our mission is to represent our school as positive role models, develop school and community spirit, to serve as school ambassadors who provide service and hospitality when and where we are needed, and to wear our uniform as proud members of the Urbana Middle School Tigers Cheer Squad. 

Since we are not yet recognized as a sport at UMS, we don't have the funding that most cheerleading/athletic teams have. All of the coaches are volunteering their time and cheerleaders will be fundraising all season long. 

We are asking that you give as much as you feel necessary to our team. All of your money will be put towards uniforms, poms, and other necessary team materials. Keep in mind that we are requiring all cheerleaders to pay for their own socks, briefs, shoes, and team t-shirt. Some of our cheerleaders do not have enough money for all of these materials, so the money raised will help with that expense as well.
