Our Lil Micro Preemie Alex Fund

We are the Jones family, now a family of 6.

On September 30, 2015 Alexander decided he could not wait to come into this world and join his 3 older brothers. He wasn't due til January 16, 2016. He Weighed in at only 1 lb. 10oz, classifying him as a "Micro Preemie". After 5 days Alex was transfered to Levine's Childrens hospital which is over an hour away from our home. Alex has had some issues with his heart and lungs, but is doing better so far. He also had some bleeding on the brain but his last scan showed that he was recovering very well from that also. The doctors say that babies typically stay at the hospital until their original due date.
We have been staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte, which has been an absolute blessing to us. However, our 3 other boys have stayed in Salisbury with their PawPaw because of school. We have been driving back and forth for almost 3 weeks now and we have noticed how much time and money we are spending already is adding up. My Husband has to return to work at the end of this month. With him going back to work I will have to drive back and forth even more than we are now.
We have never set up a fund page before so this is all new to us. We just hope and pray that this option will help us afford to be here for Alex and still be there for our other sons. It has been hard on us to be so far away from our family and to have to also leave Little Alex every night in the hospital. We just ask that if you can please just help us with a small donation then we could be back and forth for all of our children and we wouldn't have to worry about whether or not we had the gas to be there.
