From the 28th -30th July; Neil Williams, Lee Toone, Rob Bond and Adam Toone will be attempting 8 lengths of Ullswater Lake in the Lake District totalling 64 miles. This will be my first open water swim, so wish me luck! We will be posting pictures as we go along to keep you all updated on our journey.
All money raised will go to two well deserved local causes:-
FORGOTTEN REGULARS - Alzheimer's Society in Tyldesley. This club go out of the way far and beyond in helping people with this illness. Run by Sharon Mattin from The Union Arms. Tyldesley.
TYLDELSEY SWIMMING CLUB - that have for over 140 years given the town a sporting platform for youngsters to develop their swimming and waterpolo skills. Some growing into international athletes.
TWO VERY WORTHY CAUSES.
