The Cincinnati Aviation Heritage Society & Museum is located inside historic Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport (KLUK).
The purpose of this campaign is so we can take advantage of a $10,000.00 challenge grant.
Our Mission and Philosophy
The Cincinnati Aviation Heritage Society is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, more specifically to collect, restore and display aviation artifacts relating to Ohio and the Cincinnati Tri-State in particular; and all aviation in general.
Mission
Encourages education, creativity and collaboration by contributing to the total well-being of the aviation community in three areas: (1) History, (2) Lifelong Education, (3) Thriving Aviation Communities.
Philosophy
That it is a part of Cincinnati Aviation Heritage Society’s corporate citizenship to be a leader in improving the quality of aviation education, by creating proactive, innovative partnerships with community institutions and enterprises with similar interests.
STEM
STEM is a big part of this. Our hands on projects will help mould young minds to become leaders in the aviation community of the future.
This particular campaign is meant to match a 10K challenge gift. Every dollar donated will help us meet this challenge and give us a strong financial base.
Cincinnati Municipal Lunken Airport is the site of the plaque below.
I am personally excited to be near the helm of this group. The establishment of a Civilian Aviation museum will be a first for our area and the only one within 500 miles.
We need to meet this match as quickly as possible so the donors can enjoy the giving season with a nice tax deduction. Ideally we'll meet the challenge with the month of November. Thank you for helping us hasten this goal.
There will be other campaigns in the future to help us reach other goals, but right now want to receive the promised gift and you can help insure that we do.
