Here is the news report: Police say a driver was likely on drugs when he swerved off the road, crashed into a shed and killed a pedestrian walking on the sidewalk. Nathan Osburn, 42, was walking in the area of Pomona Drive and Quay Drive at approximately 4:15 p.m. when he was struck and killed by a vehicle that swerved off the road and onto the sidewalk, police said. Osburn was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said Troy Glassford, 39, swerved while traveling east on Pomona Dr, colliding with a wooden privacy fence and shed at 8208 Quay Drive before striking Osburn. Arvada police believe drugs are a factor in the crash. Glassford was arrested and has been jailed on vehicular homicide and DUID charges.
