We want to firstly express our sincerest gratitude to everyone that has already supported our journey to create our series "West of the City".
This July we shot the Proof of Concept for our Television Show "WEST OF THE CITY". We were fortunate enough to assemble a top notch cast and an equally seasoned and expertly skilled production team of over 40 onset crew and 80 other professionals to tell this story.

Logline
Wracked by the guilt over the execution style, murder of his best friend and partner, a hot-headed cop vows to find his killers. Facing daunting career obligations and a corrupt police department, Officer Miguel (Mickey) Garcia turns to the only two people he can trust—his lifelong friends, a pair of career criminals whose loyalty to each other is only outweighed by the need to avenge a murdered friend.
About "West of the City"
Set in a small urban-centric town just west of NYC, an eclectic mix of Blues, Latin and Retro sounds permeate the visually gritty but character filled urban landscape of this dark humored political and police thriller that takes us into the world of everyman police officer Miguel (Mickey) Garcia and his three closest childhood friends. As he suffers from the guilt over his partner Benny’s execution style murder in broad daylight, the frustration of training an inexperienced undercover narcotics unit while turning for help to the only two friends he can trust—a pair of criminals; can Mickey hold it together long enough to get justice for Benny?
The West of the City Team
Our team led by longtime HExTC company members, Liche Ariza, Arian Blanco, Ivan Goris, Omar Hernandez and Jim Thalman assembled a top notch crew helmed by Director Gary Sales ( Producer of Girl On A Train), anchored by Director of photography David Kimelman (Burn Notice) and a nuanced ensemble cast to tell this story.
Cast includes seasoned veterans Dan Grimaldi (Sopranos), Hemky Madera (Weeds), Craig muMs Grant (OZ), Emilio Delgado (House Of Cards), Gabe Hernandez (Blue Bloods), Danny Doherty (Gotham), Bárbara Jimenez (The Talisman), Omar Hernandez (The Bourne Ultimatum), Liche Ariza (Elementary), Lou Martini Jr . (Sopranos) & Jim Thalman (Diane, The Last Hit) just to name a few.

West of the City is being developed under the auspicious of The Hudson Exploited Theater Company, Inc. a fully incorporated, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, which means 100% of every dollar you donate is a fully tax deductible charitable contribution.
