Cutthroat, A Journal of the Arts
Cutthroat, A Journal of the Arts is in its 14th year. We have published thousands of American writers as an independent small journal. Because we are independent, we are not funded by any organization so we depend on donors to help us with all the costs involved in running a national magazine. None of our editors are paid. All editors work for free as a labor of love for the greater writing community. Printing, mailing, advertising costs continue to escalate. We keep the price of our magazine affordable and have not raised its price. A regular issue costs $15. Arts funding has been severely curtailed. Subscriptions pay for very little. Could you please help us out with a contribution? In contributing, you are helping to keep small presses like ours alive and well in America. Thank you!+ Read More
It's giving Tuesday. We are about 1/6 of the way to our goal. Thank you for being generous. We promise you to continue publishing work with meaning and craft, with heart and mind, with a view to social justice and environmental responsibility. Our editors and staff donate their time. We have no institutional or corporate funding. Please help us continue publishing this highly-respected 14 year old magazine. We need your help.
