The National Honor Society is an organization that established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Our members must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3; have outstanding discipline records and good attendance. Our organization focuses on community service volunteers time at the Humane Society, the Rainbow House as well as our own school.
Our chapter would like to take a trip to Orlando, Florida. During this five day trip, NHS will attend a day of the Sports & Entertainment Marketing Conference hosted by DECA. This activity will give our students the opportunity to explore careers in several marketing and business related fields. The students will also spend three days participating in Disney Educational Programs on the topics of leadership, technology and conservation. In addition, the students will take tours of several college campuses
Your donation will help us reach our goal of $8,500 to fund this trip of a lifetime for these bright, deserving students. Due to the socio-economic conditions surrounding our school and our students, fundraising is necessary to make this trip a reality. This may be the only opportunity these exceptional students may have to be exposed to these career options, campuses and travel experience. Please consider making a donation to our organization.
