We are the FireTigers, a First Lego League robotic team from Arkansas. We have worked together on Core Values, Robot Design and a very special project.
This year the theme is recycling and we have decided to raise awareness to the amount of oil that is wasted in oil bottles. You would be surprised at how much oil is left in the bottle and it is hard to get out. Our team designed an apparatus that drains all of the left over oil out of the bottle so that you are able to use every last drop. We also had to design a robot and program it to do missions. We learned the importance of multitasking while running a mission because we only have 2 minutes and 30 seconds to get as many tasks accomplished as we can. We competed in December at our regional competition and won first place!! Grand Champions. In January we competed at the state competition and we won Grand Champions again! We are so excited to be invited to the international competition at Legoland, California, but now we have to get our whole team to California. We will be competing this spring and we would appreciate any support you could give us to help us get to our competition. These seven children are amazing and they have such a bright future, please help them fulfill their dreams.
