The POV-Ray family of raytracers has seen decades of faithful, yet for the most part unpaid, development by enthusiasts. It is in this hobbyist mode that I have been actively contributing to POV-Ray proper since late 2008, and to the derivative UberPOV since late 2013. Unfortunately, Real Life, aka The Need to Make a Living, keeps interfering, so work on various issues and ideas is frequently postponed until I once again get a round tuit.
