medical expenses for tam lettieri

My name is Daniel Swope and I am raising money for a friend who is currently dealing with medical issues that are putting financial strain on her and her family. It is important that she focuses on getting better and her primary goal should be dealing with her medical issues. The purpose of this campaign is to help alleviate the financial strain her condition has caused. Due to her upcoming surgery she will be off work for at least 4 to 6 weeks. As a result, she will be down to one income.  My goal is to make sure this doesn't affect her family in a negative way. Tam Is a very humble person who would never ask for help herself. She is a strong and independent woman who is a role model for many people and because of this I felt it was necessary to take it upon myself. She suggested that any money she doesn't use should go to her local animal shelter because she is a kind and loving individual who believes in paying it forward. we would greatly appreciate any money that could be raised.

UPDATE:  as soon as she is fully healed from the first surgery, she has to have major back surgery, a lumbar fusion. Afterwards, she will have to spend a few days in the hospital then a week or so in a nursing home for rehab.
