Rebels SC Hawaii International Cup

Dear Family and Friends,
Most of you know, that for the past seven years, I have been a committed soccer player for the Rebels Soccer Club. I originally started at 5 years old, playing AYSO. I continued on to play for various teams and coaches. At 10 years old, what once was just a 3-month season sport soon became a yearlong commitment when I was asked to join the competitive BU11 Rebels Soccer team.
Since then, I have committed myself immensely to my team and coaches. My team and I work hard by training 2-3 times a week, maintain a healthy eating life-style, and by always giving 110%. Participating in tournaments throughout the year is also a big part of the sport. I have had the opportunity to travel to many different cities from Long Beach, California to Las Vegas, Nevada. This year, I am hoping to travel with my team to Oahu, Hawaii, so that I can participate in Hawaii's largest youth competitive soccer tournament, the Hawaii International Cup. This is why I am reaching out to you, my family and friends, to ask for your help in sending me on my way to be a part of this 2015 soccer event.
Soccer has been a big part of my life. Not only have I learned special skills that help me on the field, but I have also learned valuable skills that will help me in life. Commitment, dedication, team player, leadership, motivation, is just a few traits I have learned from being an athlete. And while these traits are important to have on the field, they are just as important to have off the field.
My goal is to raise $600 dollars, which will go towards my travel expenses such as airfare and hotel stay. Your contribution in helping me reach my goal to play in the Hawaii International Cup will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your love and support.
