Hughes Family Medical Bills

In December of 2017, Bob Hughes' wife, Tara was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. What also comes with this disease is a significant negative financial impact to the Hughes family. All the prescription medications for MS are extremely expensive. A recent study from Oregon State University and the Oregon Health and Science University finds that the cost for MS drugs averages $60,000 a year!
