Collin had been complaining of headaches for a few weeks. Yesterday, he told his mom he was having trouble seeing. After a trip to Urgent Care, he was sent for an MRI. From the MRI, they sent him to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, as they discovered a brain tumor.
Currently, he is undergoing surgery. The surgeons told them to prepare for a 6-18 hour surgery. He's passed the 7-hour mark. Please pray for Collin and his family.

We've set up this account to help defray the costs of driving back and forth from Frederick to Baltimore, parking, meals while at the hospital, and time missed from work for Collin's parents.

Thanks for lifting up this family.

I know it's been a while since I've updated, but here's some good news from Ilysha today:

It's so touching the things that a community can do to make you feel loved. From supplying dinners to supportive words to becoming a landscaping fairy...all things have touched my heart. I feel so lucky.... thank you all. Collin goes in on Tuesday to get the trach removed ... then on the 13th he goes back for 4th round of chemo. He's walking every evening and can make it 5 houses by himself ... the steps forward are always so exciting..... stay tuned for updates on Tuesday!!!

Update from Ilysha:

Haven't updated in a while... Collin continues to work at PT, OT and speech...he has awesome therapists. He's getting stronger everyday. Had a lil setback of pneumonia and then an allergic reaction of hives... but pushed through that too. He's a fighter... he's ‪#‎collinstrong‬. Thanks for all the love and thoughts. ..keep it comin!!!

From Ilysha:
First round of chemo...done. 8 more to go. He's doing well so far, just very tired. Collin is very susceptible to germs now. .. so remember if you plan to visit. ..no germs here. If you have a runny nose, cough, fever or sore throat...just text...no visits. Also...hand sanitizer is a must!! Thanks for every prayer and thought sent his way.

From Me:

Thank you so much to all who have given thus far! If you've been on the fence, please consider donating what you can. I know that funds are tight for all of us. Consider giving up your daily cup of takeout coffee this week and donating that money? The beauty of GoFundMe is that small donations add up to big ones!

Between copays for OT, PT, and speech therapy, prescription copays, trips back/forth to Johns Hopkins, kicking cancer's butt is an expensive proposition!
Thanks so much for all of the support that you've shown the Brown family.
